Over 50 members and guests braved some warmer weather at Blue Note Brewery in Woodland on June 28 to Demote and thank President Shawn Seyk following his year as Club President. Immediate Past President Dan Stroski presented Shawn with a Past President's plaque from the Club. He also presented Karl Diekman with his Club President's badge and pin. |

Senior BBQ 2023 |

The Club's Senior Citizens BBQ in Rotary Park restarted at the Yolo County Fairgrounds after a 3 year absence due to the pandemic. Aniek Pflager did another great leading the effort. Club members were out in force, dipping, grilling, and serving. Although attendance was about 1/3 of what it had been before the pandemic, those who came out enjoyed a great meal, sunshine, and ice cream! Fortunately, not a single drumstick was wasted! Fourth & Hope gladly accepted all the leftovers. |

2023 Dinner Auction |

Past President Tabb Randolph led a new steering committee in organizing the 2023 Dinner Auction at the California Agriculture Museum on April 22. Over 220 members and guests enjoyed raising more than $45,000 for seven beneficiaries: The Bike Campaign; Friends of Yolo Adult Day Health Center; MOSAIC Children's Museum; Yolo County Fair Improvement Project; Yolo Crisis Nursery; Woodland Little League; and All Leaders Must Serve (ALMS). Many thanks to our sponsors, and everyone else for a great evening! |

2022 Dinner Auction |

Led by President-elect Shawn Seyk, the Club held its 2022 Dinner Auction at the California Agriculture Museum in-person for the first time in two years. Over 220 members and guests enjoyed the evening, and raised more than $45,000 for our beneficiary, Woodland Girls Fastpitch Softball. Many thanks to our sponsors, committee members, and partners for a great evening! |

Club Trip to SF Giants Game '21 |

Woodland Rotary took over 50 members, spouses & guests on a bus trip Saturday, October 2, 2021 to see the Giants game against the San Diego Padres at Oracle Park in San Francisco. Though the Giants didn't win the National League's Western Division today, it was still a great outing. Many thanks to Marie Galbo for organizing this event! |

Kenya WASH Project, Phase One |

In October 2020 our Club approved participation in the Kenya WASH project to improve Water Supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) at the Karen C Primary School and an adjacent girls high school in Karen, Kenya in a Rotary Global Grant proposal sponsored by the Rotary Club of Karen (Kenya) to install water storage tanks, plumbing, wash stations, modern toilets, and train students & teachers to create a communitywide awareness on hygiene, water usage and sanitation. This is the story of Project's Phase One. |
