Past Projects our club has been involved in.
District and Global Grants Program.
Rotary Clubs are blessed with the ability to apply for and receive District and Rotary International (Global) grant funds for qualifiying projects. Grant approval requires adherence to District and RI rules, compliance with a current Memorandum of Understanding between the Club and the District, and Club Implementing Procedures complying with the foregoing.
A primary focus of the rules is to insure transparency in grant execution, and to maintain the integrity of the program by insuring grants are accomplished per the terms of the approved grant and the funds are expended in a fiduciary manner with no conflict of interest on the part of those involved. Transparency in grant execution is important to the creditability of the program, and as such:
1. Records are available to Club members for examination-see link below
2. Club members are responsible for reporting any suspected misuse or mismanagement of grant funds to the Club President. The Club President is responsible for forwarding any reports of potential and real misuse or mismanagement to the District Stewardship Chair. The Club will cooperate fully with the District on a formal review and resolution of any allegations.
