Gary Wegener was in today's Century Spotlight. He joined the Club in 1995 with Gary Wirth as his sponsor. Gary was drawn to the Club's community Involvement and as he became more familiar with the scope of Rotary International, came to appreciate all the good Rotary does in the world. We also learned the 'Splinter' nickname of our weekly newsletter was selected in 1960 inspired by the City of Woodland's 'City of Trees' motto.

Current Club President Aniek Pflager was a member for over 20 years before she was ready for the job. She was thankful club members step up when asked and are really the ones doing the work. President-elect Nick Roncoroni (2026-27) was glad Bob Nakken and Karl Diekman agreed to serve as President which allowed him some time to better prepare for his term. Kevin Haarberg (2003-04) thought it important to lead by example.
