What We Do - El Grullo Fire Engine

Fire Engine to El Grullo:  All things come in good time... An effort started in Mike Chandler's year, to team with Orinda Rotary to transport a fire engine exceww to local needs, to the city of El Grullo, Jalisco, Mexico. In a 2 year effort involving 6 Rotary Clubs, the engine was finally delivered in late July 2020 to El Grullo. The El Grullo firefighters (Bomberos) love the old (circa 1974) engine as they are easier to understand/ operate/trouble shoot than newer ones with all their electronics. Good job Rotary: we bring people together, do the hard work and solve problems!!??
