Interact is for high school aged youth and provides an excellent opportunity for leadership and character development, community service, and FUN!

On Saturday, August 13, 2011, the Woodland Interact Club turned out to paint a US state map on the playground at Plainfield Elementary School.  Shown here are the Interactors, members of Woodland Rotary Club, and the school principal. 

On Saturday, January 14th, Interact assisted the Rotary Club by picking oranges to donate to the Food Bank. From left to right: Caleb Borba, Sara Scarlett, Jennifer Butler, Molly Bencomo, Kyle Morley, Lauren Maszk, and Sara Sanders.

Woodland has an active Interact Club, with members from both Pioneer and Woodland High.  Check out what Interact is all about and consider joining.  The Woodland Sunrise and Noon clubs jointly provide support and advisors for the Interact Club of Woodland.  Currently the advisors are Bob Pye, Tim Petitt, 530 666 3459, and Rick Pomeroy.   You are encouraged to contact them, or Interact Presidents Molly Bencomo or Sara Sanders if you have any questions.

All are welcome to attend a regular meeting, which take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at 7:00 PM.  Meetings are held at Remax Real Estate located at 927 Main Street Woodland. (Enter in the back of the building) Note that it is best to call ahead to make sure the date or location hasn't changed.
