Tony Delevati led us in the pledge and Bob Tamblyn conducted the club in singing Rotary Grace. Marc Ullrich offered words of wisdom on the meaning of success. Birthdays
Dona Mast Celebrated her birthday August 20th in Yukon, Oklahoma. She was so happy she rang the bell, but not happy enough to divulge the year. David Canto was born in Lima, Peru August 21, 1971. Kevin Vaziri was born August 25, 1961. We sang off key to wish him a happy 48th.
Anniversaries

Tim Pettit met his wife Nadine at his 40th High School reunion and married her August 20th 5 years ago in Murphys, CA. David and Judy Janes celebrated their 41st anniversary in Lodi, CA. Pam Vargas was married to Florentino 18 years ago August 31st.
Recognition
Roger Dorris stepped to the plate for recognition. Scott Johnston was happy to celebrate his 35th anniversary playing golf at Coyote Moon with his wife. He credited years of training in pulling off this major event. Marc Ullrich and Roger Dorris paid for winning their flight at Yolo Fliers Club Stag Day golf tournament. They ratted out George Burger who was absent, but will be recognized when he returns. Tony Delevati was happy about his recent visit to LA where he spent time with his son and daughter. Marc Werum was fined by Roger who took exception to his lawyer joke which also included an IRS agent. He defended his brother, who works for the IRS. Tim Bernard was intrigued that there was someone to stand up for the IRS, but nobody stood up for the lawyers. Gary Wirth was recognized for his recent trip to Ireland where he herded CATS around the links. I’m sure some Irish whiskey was involved in that deal. Marc Evans recently returned from a golf outing at the Running Y Ranch in Oregon, where he also went fishing. With no more happiness to collect money for, Roger stooped to asking golf questions. Peter Holmes didn’t know much about golf, but he knew quite a bit about soccer. George Berrettoni paid even though he visited others who worked at the fair. He knew the answer to the start of the Soldheim cup golf tournament. Ron Moraviov declined to even venture a guess. Peter Faye also didn’t know much about the President’s cup. Kevin Vaziri was reminded that the President’s cup will be played at Harding Park in S.F. this year. Roger tried to pick on Craig Miyamoto only to find that he had donated his winnings from last year back to the club. Thanks Craig!
